Group Gong Bath

My sound baths are spaces of deep rest, restoration, and relaxation. Using Crystal & Himalayan singing bowls and other sacred instruments, I will guide you into a space where your body and energy can naturally recalibrate. Each session blends vibrations and frequencies moving through your cells, to help clear what is heavy, soothe the nervous system, and open pathways for your heart to heal & expand. The Gong bath will promote a deep sense of calm and centeredness, release emotional & energetic weight, and guide you to a gentle return of your own inner wisdom & joy. 

The Gong bath will start when all participants are in a comfortable position, either on a mat on the floor or, in a chair if preferred. You will be asked to bring a mat, blanket, pillow, eye mask, anything that makes you feel comfortable and cosy (please bring these along with you). Then, close your eyes and relax and I will guide you through the session.

The session will start by undertaking a breathing or visualisation meditation which helps participants to feel more relaxed. I will then bring in some soothing instrument sounds such as a singing bowl or wind chimes and then will slowly and lightly start to play the gong. The gong will be played very gently at first and as the gong bath meditation session progresses, the volume may gradually be increased, but not to uncomfortable levels. There is no script or musical score to follow. It is a totally organic experience in the moment and one of deep inner exploration.

During your first gong bath, your mind will likely be curious to all the different sounds so it may take one or two more gong baths to completely let go and relax.

1:1 & 1:2 Sound Therapy

Experience inner peace and harmony with my Himalayan bowl healing technique. This unique therapy uses sound therapy to stimulate the body's natural healing process and balance the chakras, bringing a sense of calm and clarity to your mind and body. With 1-1 or 1:2 attention, you can relax and let the soothing vibrations of the singing bowls wash over you, leaving you feeling rejuvenated and refreshed.

 

I will use an array of instruments which may include some of the following: gongs, Himalayan bowls and percussion instruments placed on or close to the body.

The session will start with a short consultation to rule out any contraindications and to find out what you want from the session. You will lie, fully clothed, on a therapy couch with your head resting on a pillow and with a blanket over you for comfort (or on a reclining chair if coming with a friend or partner). I will guide you to relax and then play the sacred sound instruments over and around you during which time you will probably drift into a sleepy or meditative state.

At the end of the sound therapy session there is a 2-minute silence which allows your body time to assimilate all that it has received before you are then guided back to a wakeful state. Following the session, I will give you some aftercare advise, such as drinking plenty of water to aid with the release of toxins from your body.

1:1 Acoustic Massage

Acoustic massage therapy is a serene vibrational soft tissue massage incorporating Himalayan singing bowls that will allow for a frequency synchronisation of the mind & body connections.

The session will start with a short consultation to rule out any contraindications and to find out what you want from the treatment. You will lie, partially clothed, on a therapy couch with your head resting comfortably. In addition to the hands-on soft tissue massage, Himalayan singing bowls will be placed directly onto a towel on the partially clothed body. Himalayan singing bowls are played to create a soothing sound and gentle vibration. The bowls are strategically placed around the body, working through the meridian points, sending vibration through the body and creating a flow of sounds and energy which encourages harmonisation and deep relaxation.

At the end of the session there is a 2-minute silence which allows your body time to assimilate all that it has received before you are then guided back to a wakeful state. Following this, I will give you some aftercare advise, such as drinking plenty of water to aid with the release of toxins from your body.

I’ve been feeling quite stressed with work lately and having those 60 minutes to completely switch off and just relax was exactly what I needed. The time flew by, which is always a sign of how deeply I was able to relax.

As I reflect on the past week, I remember going into it feeling remarkably calm and centred. There was a strong sense of focus that carried me through, and I felt genuinely optimistic about what the week ahead would bring.
